Glorious Autumn in Wandsworth Park

This time of year reminds me of the words of that great hymn Immortal Invisible by Walter Chalmers Smith.

We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish, but nought changeth thee.

These words came to mind when walking under the lime trees in Wandsworth Park which inspired this watercolour.
